SGE - The Simple Graphics Engine
SGE was created as a solution to the lack of easy-to-use 3D engines. First released in late 1997, SGE has evolved from a small set of functions providing basic rendering and collision detection to a multi-processor aware library with extensive support for mainstream technologies such as OpenGL, AltiVec, and SSE. SGE has been used in commercial products such as the Kawasaki games released by Encore Software, Inc.
